St Marks C.e. Primary School, Bromley
We provide a broad and balanced curriculum, supported by a range of extra-curricular opportunities. The standard of music is high. Children in Key Stage 2 learn recorder. Many children learn an additional instrument and play in the orchestra. We support three award-winning choirs, who give concerts, support the school's worship, and perform in the Beckenham Festival and Bromley Schools' Prom Extensive programme of physical education is available.
Year 5 children take swimming lessons. Extra curricular activities include football, cricket, netball and athletics All children take part in educational visits each year. Year 4 children take part in a residential school journey in the UK. Year 6 children go on a residential journey to France Children participate in school fairs and other fund-raising intitiatives for charity Acts of worship take place in the church.
Chamber Choir participates bi-annually in the Diocesan Schools Festival Other extra-curricular activities include clubs in ICT, G&T, Fitness, JAM, recorders, Yoga, guitars, country dancing . Outside providers clubs in football, French, Tri-golf, perfoming arts and gymnastics. Children serve on the School Council and as SCAD-Pals, prefects and monitors, and as peer mentors.
